something I get reminded more and more of about design

product design is the final form where knowing the overall context and thinking of a product as a whole can give a solution that would 10x the app experience 

when traditionally especially at large companies designers have very narrow roles like "ux researcher" and all they do basically spend time in the docs and in the browser

over the last 10-15 years we've got narrowed down to dozens of these designer titles but what I explained above never went away and never will

ai will take over the niche and generalist product designers will be the most impactful place you can be at for what you're doing or the company you're in

this been true already ofc and this been my primary motivation to become a product designer - to not move pixels around or draw buttons (which I can do with excellence too btw) but to move things forward in the whole industry I'm working in

the leading industry is ai and crypto and the latest has even more impact on the quality of human lives across the world and it's a lot less obvious for the rest of the world right now

that's why I think being here is potentially the opportunity of a lifetime
