here's a story for you a few months ago i was there and @0xconca.eth was in town too; he was (on foot) somewhere in the historical centre with his partner and, silly me, I let him choose a spot to have lunch I had to drive in - 30 min delay to undertand new road closures to avoid €200 fines - 1 hour driving around restaurant itself trying to park; tried 3 underground parking spaces, all sold out - 30 min trying to park in a 2km radius just to go say hi had to drive back without even saying hi 2 hours later

that's insanity man, lots of friends around me still getting cars in lisbon but if you go to the beaches and out of town nothing can replace that yet within the city never had a need to have a car though and taxi is too cheap to not ever care about a car I hope robotaxis will be affordable enough to go out of the city too

oh yeah next time I'm just getting a taxi if I have to go to the centre (although I will try to avoid that as much as possible) I didn't even think about that this time, because the previous time I was in Rome - there was a taxi strike - taxi apps that I tried required you to have an Italian phone number - someone just told me Uber doesn't work anymore in Italy I had rented a car so I tried my luck rookie mistake eternally worst city in the world
