One of the things that I cannot stand and breaks my heart but also existentially destroys us if we really look into it is the industrial breeding of animals. I do not pretend to have an answer to this

Lab Grown meat just seems like an extension of industrial breeding. Might assuage folks’ conscience but I suspect it will be even less healthy for us than current industrial meat.

To me it’s funny to hear of it as a moonshot. I think it’s inevitable. Just a question of when.
