Yes. It makes communities useful. You aren’t just there to hang out with people with PFPs. You are optimizing a long term metric that’s valuable to you. Self improvement communities. Directional, unlike the entropy of social media. Compounding interest every day.

Yeah totally agree. I just though the things you started with already describe the current direction of Farcaster community, except without the “billions” (or millions or w/e) of NFTs. I think the proof-of-X can happen in smaller communities without the bloat of tech but to scale it it needs what you say.
