If you're not paying attention, you'll not realize some projects are making waves silently. For instance, many may not know that SUI network process between 13-25million transactions daily, has process over 9billion, and gets about 500 daily new coins. What this means is simple, Sui is getting noticed even though they're not doing any aggressive marketing. This is the kind of project that I look out for, the type I like to support. Reminds me of my darling $DEGEN. What project currently excites you?

You're very correct. However, if you're paying attention, you'd be able to ascertain projects that are walking the talk from the ones gaming the system. Sui isn't gaming the system and a little research will prove that. From performing dApps to native token interactions, it's obviously performing well.

problem with these type of metrics analysis is they are easy to game - one big project having their airdrop can easily morph this & make it look like the chain is performing super well.. 

need more project context in this to really make sense
