I’m probably alone in this, but thinking about it, most of my problems with Farcaster recently is how new features have been communicated. “We are improving video UX!” They are not improving UX for existing video, they added a completely new feature that is a swipe feed that is mostly stolen content and doesn’t show you content you are interested in seeing. “You can collect casts!” You are not collecting actual casts, you’re collecting a stylized screenshot of the cast. OG cast will eventually get deleted and you’ll be left with a screenshot that links to nothing. This seems in direct contrast to how channel changes were communicated and deployed last year. Feels like coinbase and TBA is forcing merkles hand to implement this stuff. Competition is good long term, but feels like farcaster has lost it’s north star in the short term. Are they trying to optimize for normie DAU with vertical video, or are they a crypto native app that NFTs every post? What’s the end goal here?

You're certainly not alone in it. Communication seem to be an issue in terms of new features. They could be communicate better for everyone to understand, not get confused by. New features are supposed to be exciting, but if we're not sure about what they are or mean, how're we supposed to be excited to try them?
