Yearly workshop for long term short term vision (mood boards make it fun). Quarterly finance reviews- partner approve investments/spending (transparency). Weekly getting things done catchups over coffee. All goes into shared Trello boards and spreadsheets. Keep it simple!

1. get buy-in from partner 2. get buy-in from partner 3. take it slow - don’t lose humanity 4. maybe all you need is a sprint board/wall and shared calendar. most moms already do this well hence 1-2 ^

Wife and I created a vision board for where we wanted to be in 5 years. Reviewed it recently, pretty much achieved everything we wanted. Made the actions and decision making a lot clearer as we both knew what needed to be done and what success was for us.

run it like a tech company. offer free massages, provide gourmet lunches, let meetings run way too long, tell them you’re a family. but then don’t do any layoffs

We run our family stuff on an own web domain (.travel as we are nomads) and fully in notion. Where we have goals (we call them out but they are not really ones. Rather only objectives that we run like projects) we have an assistant doing ground work for us, all sites we need are mostly on shared accounts.
