Every time my kiddo (16yo) leaves the kitchen there’s a cabinet or drawer open. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. why? Is this a teen thing? Is this a guy thing? Why??????? 🤬 ok rant over, carry on (and yes of course there are ⌐◨-◨ on my fridge)

Thats why i always say that open shelves are underrated. Leaving the door open is not a guy thing. Closed cabinets is a bad design. Leaving the door open is an improvement. I see "hide everything" is historically the way people tend to design their kitchen, but that's a sign they don't really used it enough

Oh interesting perspective—definitely hadn’t thought about it that way. I definitely wouldn’t want everything open. To me it would look too messy.
