Bots are now using Gen AI to craft plausible replies to questions. Except they still miss the context and come out as nonsense.

Here, I was asking how to increase my peer count in the context of running a /quilibrium node.

Still, it’s fascinating to see. Is the end game to build followers and monetize the account?

Assume that by that time, they’ll be able to participate in productive conversations, can meaningfully challenge points of view, provide alternate perspectives, etc. Essentially functionally replicating a human conversation partner. 2/3

Which leads to an interesting question.

Once we have bots that are fully capable of contextualizing and forming thoughtful replies indistinguishable from humans (as we inevitably will), should we ban them? 1/3

It's weird to see so many comments just recapping what is said in the original cast. 

Then the other thing is just to say beautiful or w/e even if there is no beauty in what has been posted. 😅 

I wonder when it gets harder to recognize?

In other words, an equilibrium node is one that:

1. Has a synchronized copy of the blockchain
2. Is actively participating in the network by validating transactions and blocks

Equilibrium node play a crucial role in maintaining the health and security of a blockchain network,

Suppose possibly $degen or other airdrop farming too? Though that doesn't seem as lucrative as it once was a couple months ago 

Either way seems to be quite a gamble, seemed back in the Reddit karma farming days these accounts were mainly sold to astro turfers, can't quite see value for them on farcaster at the moment

On Reddit it used to be to gain enough karma to resell the account on the secondary market.

Here’s there’s no karma so I’m assuming it’s to gain followers, climb the social graph, and resell the account on the secondary market.

Or, somebody experimenting with a chatbot’s ability to pass a social Turing test

I think the number of these bots has decreased a lot since the degen team limited the allowances!

I noticed that recently too. I have like 5-10 bots that reply with this AI bs.

I think the endgame is even crazier. Farm base + farcaster (in hopes) of airdrop, get followers and engagement (if it's a cabal) to farm coins (degen, fomo, etc) and then you can also resell it or sell sponsored shit?
