When I visited Ko Tao in Thailand, falling coconuts were the #1 or #2 cause of death on the island

not a bad idea, may do the same 

actually my wife has started asking me about my wallets in the event of me dying 😱 and so i've been thinking about setting up a phone with mobile wallets she could access a little bit easier as opposed to a hardware wallet or god forbid paper wallets!

Joke aside, I’ve given up trying to explain or provide instructions to my loved ones about my wallets.

Instead, I’ve given them the contact details of a crypto-capable friend that I trust enough to sort it all out with just my hardware wallet and do the right thing.

side note, but do your loved ones have access to your wallets in case of said coconut death?

Make sure you will walk past very long coconut trees. There’s a threshold when a kinetic force leaves people alive but not living. Not a good place to be.

my guy and i were attacked pretty aggressively by a swooping bird with a sharp beak while mountain biking the popular Derby Trails in tassie.

i thought maybe it was a one-off event, but it turns out magpies have not only killed people in defense of their territory, but injure hundreds of bikers a year and nearly blinded some toddlers. 

we were descending a pretty technical rock section at the time and things def coulda gone sideways quickly if we weren’t wearing protection at the time.
