do it. the google pixel is kinda fire. which one would you lean towards if you pivoted to android?

I’d go back to pixel. whatever the current best, smallish handset option is.

damn. day 1 pixel gang? šŸ”„ good question but hard for me to comment because i haven't used assistant much. integration in terms of other google products (excel, gmail, etc) is top tier but in terms of cellphone specific functions, i haven't really explored (but I probably should) i am curious to see how it works when integrated with google home products which i plan on setting up in the next 3-6 months after my move.

might have overstated. iirc pixel 2 was my first google handset. i've never owned a nexus. likewise curious. i had hoped apple would unveil a reboot of Homepod today, but i guess not. so far Gemini integration into my Google Home units has been... meh? Nothing is obviously better... yet.

nah you didn't, you were pretty spot on!i said day 1 because I feel like I don't recall pixel existing that long šŸ˜‚ but to my surprise the nexus was released in 2010 before they pivoted to the pixel series in 2016. really, just meh? hmm might need a bit more time to cook. one thing i have noticed though, is that gemini adds new features pretty regularly! i will piggy back in about 6 months time to see where we're at.
