Watching your mother slowly fade away is surreal. A once vibrant body slowly becoming a corpse. Her spirit is still strong and she shines through in moments she has energy, which are less and less. I’ve been afk spending as much time as possible with her. She’s only 67 so it was somewhat unexpected to come to this.

Sorry to hear this, I watched my grandma waste away at the age of 17 from a well fed woman to literally skeletal child that you could pick up. I'm now 40 and it still haunts me to this day. Miss her dearly as she was only 56 iirc at the time.

Hard age for it. I lost one of my grandmothers around the same age (my mum’s mum) and it was gut wrenching. Sorry to hear how heavy it has weighed on you. 🤍 🫂
