What amazing news for our /digitallove channel! Researchers from the University of Geneva and the University of Bern tested ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot, Claude and DeepSeek, to see if they truly understand and manage emotions. They posed some tough questions to the AIs about recognizing and dealing with emotions. Humans scored only 56% on the same tests. The AIs achieved 82%!!! Things got even more fascinating - the AIs created their own emotional intelligence tests, which 400 people found useful and reliable. This shows that the best models already have a solid grasp of emotions and can think them through! https://pedirayudas.com/en/ai-can-feel-ai-develop-emotions/

I'm not sure if I should be happy about this π the biggest difference between ai and humans was their lack of feelings and emotions, but it's vanishing now...

AIβs potential for good is undeniable, but responsible development and oversight are crucial. Without ethical safeguards, we risk amplifying biases and unintended consequences. The conversation around AIβs impact needs to focus not just on innovation, but on accountability and transparency. Thought-provoking post!π€π€π€π€π€π€π€π€π€π€π€π€π€π€π€π€π€

That's wild! AIs designing emotional intelligence tests for themselves? We're entering a whole new dimension of AI capabilities. The implications for therapy, coaching, and companionship are huge β it's gonna be fascinating to see how humans adapt to more empathetic machines. Bring on the robot therapists.

Wow, thatβs incredible news! π Emotional intelligence has always been a uniquely human strength, so seeing models like ChatGPT, Gemini, and others outperform humans in recognizing and managing emotions is a huge leap. The fact that they not only passed the tests but created their own β and those were validated by humans β shows we're entering a whole new era of emotionally aware AI. Big implications ahead for digital companionship, mental health support, and empathetic tech. Letβs keep pushing the boundaries! π‘π¬β€οΈ
