Yesterday we launched a new Let's talk /poetry thread. This time about the use of AI. A lot of people shared their thoughts. What is emerging from that is: The AIditor: AI as a tool to improve your writing; The translAItor: AI to help translate into English; The AIrtist: AI to create art that goes with the writing. And then there are, to put it strongly, the LuddAItes, those who think using AI takes away the personality and rawness of writing poetry. What I am missing is the AIvantgardists. People like Sasha Stiles or Marta Gazzola, who use AI as a collaborAItor, to cocreate new things. Is this movement already petering out, or are there still poets actively working with AI to create the poetry of the future?

Thank you for sharing these insights. Still believe in writing raw pieces straight from the heart. Can always take AI help for refining if one needs or not. Depends on choices. Like I have used AI to put my pieces and create visuals. So collaboration definitely is the way forward. 111 $DEGEN
