Wow I just scrolled through this and I feel a lot of emotions about it. It's obviously a safe haven for people who were in terrible abusive relationships and can, in a way, take control back into their lives and relationships. But the elephant in the room is that this has to be incredibly dangerous in sooooo many ways. Imagine the kind of control a company could have over an individual if they were able to influence them via their AI boyfriend. Have the boyfriend suggest they buy a certain brand, sway political and social views, etc.
