Many mini apps I love (not calling anyone out) do not make very compelling use of their embed image: they are often a large, static, centered logo with text.

These eat up vertical space in feed and get tiring when they are repeated. If your app goes viral with an embed like this, users are more likely to get annoyed and tune it out.

If you could opt in to a more compact embed format, would you use it? What would it need to provide to be compelling?

I don't feel confident to build a Calendar Mini App whose dynamic preview is usably correct (much less a Clock).

my Mini Apps page has plenty of ghost placeholder images, for mini apps by really good builders who write simple, understandable code.

best not to go there, I think
