no this is different. i want to friend people on github, not have them join another social network. and see their stats on what they're passionate about and good at based on their commit history. what repos do we both follow, how much do they code daily, are they building any oss libraries or products? etc. very different

I’ll add it to my todo list, will get it for you. I can usually tell a lot about a dev via their github profile — I want that surfaced essentially. It’s cool if you can cross reference it via /icebreaker but I want to know what kind of libraries and products people use. are they client side devs or focus on distributed systems. What personal products have the shipped? All builders r not the same — I know the nuances on my friends.

yeah just looking at repos. I have so many things I want to build, I’m practically paralyzed. I have been friending people on github over linkedin so this would be very useful. It’s way more high agency people. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
