Collectors are willing to pay 3$ to mint your art but you only get 1$ from it

I’ve “sold” more than 1k pieces on Zora. 
People spent 3000$ but i didnt even earn half of it..

Isnt the blockchain supposed to get rid of the middle man..?

I don’t get Zora at all. It’s no different to Manifold + (marketplace) except that there are points to earn and a totally different chain

Yes I know it’s very different to Manifold … but not in value prop, more in back-end 

I get that they are “optimised for discovery” but that’s what all marketplaces are about

Its very different than manifold actually 

Zora protocol is built to enhance discovery, but it has a hidden “cost”

You have to give up a portion of the fees
