I'm currently developing T-Cell Engagers for solid tumors. They are "eat me" signals that attach to cancer cells kill them. It is a very simple concept but can easily kill someone if they bind to normal cells. We make T-Cell Engagers that are inactive until they get to the tumor, reducing toxicity.

It’s a tough disease, crazy the standard of care is systemic chemotherapy still…hope we move beyond that at some point soon

yeah, and it’s a couple year process. chemo radiation surgery reconstruction takes a toll on everyone involved

Yeah, my mom passed away from cancer a few years ago and so did both my wife’s parents…really tough. Luckily catching it early the prognosis isn’t too bad most of the time

sorry to hear that! they said my wife was diagnosed early, but late stage. luckily the chemo did its job!

Glad to hear that, lot of new meds coming along that are giving people more options, much better than it used to be even 5-10yrs ago

yeah, she started treatment in late 2019 and man it was a rough stretch for about 6 months of chemo, then 3 months of and 7 weeks of 5 day a week radiation. needed to wait a year for surgery pray people don’t have to go through as much in the future
