One of the biggest challenges in artificial intelligence is teaching AI systems to understand and describe concepts they've never encountered before. This ability, known as zero shot learning (ZSL), plays a key role in creating more versatile and adaptive AI. Zero-shot learning empowers models to make predictions about new, unseen categories by using semantic knowledge like textual descriptions or inherent attributes. This becomes especially valuable when labeled data is limited or completely missing. To navigate unfamiliar situations, AI needs to grasp cause-and-effect relationships, but most current systems fall short in this area. As a result, their performance in dynamic and ever changing environments remains constrained. @darrylyeo
