One new communication skill I’ve learned is to just give a customer one question or answer at a time. Early in my candle career I think I over explained shipping options and it overwhelmed that lead, so they didn’t end up responding. Now I try my best to just do one q at a time, and let the customer lead the conversation!

part of it is somewhat true when pitching something. just one key message in a deck/ call / meeting.
