Have a 200K + discord community but engagement seems mid. 2 options 1. Start a new discord server & do manual onboarding of only the right vibe members 2. Create a new channel in the existing server - and add right vibe members manually Thoughts?

new server. and implement purge system if you want to, maybe 30 days or 3 months of being inactive (no reactions, messages) will get you removed. also, why do you have a discord server in the first place? thing is something to question for the current and the new server and create a community around it. so i agree w @bytebot on this it's fine if you have less people, but more engagement in general also, best to not have any quests related to discord for intract, imo else you'll just get multiple accounts of the same person joining, and only 1 of them ever being active with a "gm"

What did they come there for initially? If that reason has long gone, a is best bet. B is good if you still have some active folk and can rebootstrap this way. But it’s unlikely to ever get the same activity back I suspect if they’ve left

Done this for a client. Analysed 2 years of engagement. Engaged members for access to the “real server”.
