My grandfather smoked. At 10, my mom told him, “Quit if you want to see us graduate.” He quit but died of lung cancer three years later. It broke me. Mom said, “Never smoke and put us through this again” I didn’t. At 28, I regret it slightly cause this gave me cancer anyway.
