Why would you think Instagram will make sure if your data to be respected? 

I’m sure insta holds all as well.

Davinci Resolve is the best alternative. You retain full ownership of your edited/exported content, stored locally unless you use their cloud service, and they have no license granted to use your content unless you use their stock images / videos.

Good point. I haven’t checked the ToS. Was wondering if anyone else did (or if the tool can even compare)
