Life feels like a movie right now, with the occasional still frame to pause and reflect. 

It’s strange how deeply we belong to some places and how detached we feel from others - much like trees that refuse to sink their roots into soil that feels foreign to the blossoms they produce.

What's the difference between a human and a rock? Breathing? Happiness? Or sadness? Is there even a difference?!

There is so much truth in this. I often feel “geographically” off in some places, where every molecule of my body just wants to get away. 

I love this photo and how the body merges with the environment ~ how it is meant to be there naturally.

Human fragility vs. geological permanence. Are we part of the landscape, or merely visitors?
