How it feels trying to convert CT friends to FC I am once again asking for Warpcast to stop promoting dogshit tokens and memes — this is not how we win crypto

Your supposedly CT native friend installed the mini app? Not sure if 3_fingers.jpg or bicycle_w_stick.jpg meme Kebab button is right there to turn it off. :)

He installed the chicken app because it said free money (install for an airdrop) So he liked the free money but not the notifications. Hmmm

1) one-time airdrop for repeated spam wasn’t clear, you’re right he can remove the app, but users are entitled and the notifications are bad 2) suspect it’s not entirely about the chicken app, but rather the entire screen’s worth of notifications unrelated to app usage — solve here would be to cluster notifs based on category

This is absolutely it. App notifs need diff category. If ppl want them they'll check them. If ppl actually just want to see notifs from real ppl they won't be bothered.

Slightly disagree, as an app builder, being able to engage my users in WC is very powerful — I don’t want it buried in another tab like channels But what could be improved is clustering or dampening default notifications It’s a tough problem but I’d rather they err on the side of more visibility for app devs, even if it leads to bad situations like this one

I can concede clustering over a different tab. Having app notifs categorized is necessary either way. I have to believe that end state inevitably will be the user will be able to choose for themselves what notifs they see where. Principle argument: If app discoverability supercedes the human connection experience in UX priorities and then the total accessible market for apps will be reduced as fewer ppl will use the network.
