> on the con side... this is because our imagination for new systems is limited to "replicate, but better" across the past 4 years I have yet to see a take from anyone or systems built truly imaginitive that goes beyond this

It always starts skeuomorphic, but the hope is that the weird and useful stuff emerges in the next decade If the year is 2035 and we’re still only hyper gambling on low liquidity coins with a picture attached, I’ll have given up on this industry

2035 will be so vastly different from 2025 you'll barely recognize yourself much less others. I wouldn't count on coins, NFTs, or any of this to be of the same or similar relevance
