Is anyone running a snapchain hub besides the paid service providers?

how do you fetch the total number of fids? I used to do a fid request with the reversed flag and just limit it to 1 but there are some interesting results returned by doing this... also I am looking for a public read hub to do a meme project before I get home in 2 weeks to restart my server

Not 100% sure if anyone is officially running a public node at the moment, but I would generally default to https://hub.pinata.cloud/v1/info ^ I think they're facing the same sync issue the rest of us have been though (cc @polluterofminds) Indexing Co's [mostly private] endpoint will be back synced within ~24 hours and you're welcome to use that as well in the interim if you dc me

that would be nice, I tried the pinata one but I'm not sure if hub-grpc pinata is on and running right now (I'm hitting a GRPC endpoint) but I'll shoot you a message as well

@harris- Pinata does not have a working GRCP anymore, the snapchain lib uses a public node that I found in one of snapchain group chats. It also works with neynar key (which will use the neynar nodes) or your own node. In the docs, the example is with Pinata, but that doesn't work anymore. ATM if you don't provide a node it will use hub.merv.fun:3383, which seems it still works check the image. https://andrei0x309.gitbook.io/farcaster-snapchain-utils

Thanks, I actually looked through your library for the current best available nodes as the first resource that came up when I was searching and it was very helpful ๐Ÿ™
