Would you rather use a product that has a token or one without a token? :)

I think this might just be saltiness from missing $noice yesterday, but I also wonder if them having a token was necessary? Subscription model that lets people pay in whatever token they want and tip out other peoples tokens could be an interesting model Wishing them success regardless, but really wondering if it was needed?

i think the token was definitely a catalyst for virality and as a result they have managed to capture a lot more mindshare than the incumbent product i wouldn't recommend launching a token on day 1 because it comes with a lot of pressure to execute and can largely be a distraction. some people are great at dealing with that and others less so in noice's case the token is technically a memecoin, so no real utility but is a proxy for betting on the success of the product, which is better than nothing! in an ideal world this represented some ownership in the project and actually helped fund the developers directly but this is as close as we can get today i guess
