How is it that toxic chemicals in our food became the rule and not the exception? Like this Sriracha for instance. luckily in California there are warning labels...do other states have the same labeling requirements? There must be a reasonable expectation that the food being sold is not going to damage our health. It's a freaking crime against humanity, and I hope that all these companies peddling toxic food completely fail and their owners get thrown in prison. We need a #foodrevolution

The CA Prop 65 label doesn’t necessarily mean that the chemicals are present but that the company chose not to pay for testing for compliance. But yeah I still agree 100% on our toxic, processed food, and even our natural produce is poisoned by contaminated soil from horrible capitalistic farming practices.

I was under the impression that the label was required for food/items that either contain toxic chemicals or were exposed to toxic materials during the manufacturing process. Personally I don't see capitalism in itself as the problem, but predatory practices within the system, both in business and within the bureaucracy. There must be regulation on these things. The people must demand it AND be in control, otherwise we allow this type of shit to flourish. Capitalism with the proper guardrails will be great for everyone...it's just unfortunate that the money'd interest and corrupt government are creating systems that are harmful.
