Plants can get sunburned, even heat loving ones like peppers! Check when UVs are high and give them some shade cloth; I usually cover them when UV is 9+

This cloth is doing close to nothing :) but specifically 50% shade cloth. Donโ€™t go higher but never lower. This is like 10% itโ€™s doing not much.
