I remembered my trip to Budapest a few years ago when I visited a Michelin-starred restaurant for the first time. It was quite an experience. One thing became crystal clear that day: If you don’t know dining etiquette, maybe skip places like this 🙈 Until you place your napkin on your lap, no food arrives. Leave it on the table, and the waiter assumes you’re not ready to eat. So there we sat, starving for nearly an hour, glaring at the poor waiter.🤦 😅

That's for sure. If you don't know the etiquette, you shouldn't go to a restaurant.😊🫶

I've been to similar restaurants a couple of times, but there, as a rule, you are served by one waiter who tells you everything in detail about the dishes served and even tells you how to eat them correctly and what to do with all this beauty. Apparently, your waiter was too pompous and pretentious 🙂

That's an interesting rule. I wasn't aware of such subtleties.
