Depends. In the car usually yes, but mostly educational apps or drawing. I try also some scratch (visual programming language) every now and then to see if it's feasible already. Got a 4y old π

The Family Link app is pretty great. I usually have educational/creative games set to unlimited, 30 mins for Disney+ and PBS Video, and sometimes I'll enable Netflix if I'm with her while watching. The tablet "goes to sleep" at 6:30, which is disappointing but it's okay. She's been using it since she was 2 and is 4 now.

30 minutes a day for "media time" and unlimited for audio books and stories. Still not sure about the last part, but there are so many great podcasts for kids in my country it feels like a well of unlimited accessible knowledge.

What does not cause angry outburst from toddlers? :) Maybe sugar, food, loud noises, cartoons...

For 1 and 3 year old, none under normal circumstances. Briefly for haircuts and maybe on airplanes if things get bad. Movie when sick.

Lots of research on this. My daughters are ages 4 and 7 and they get under 30 min a day.
