Wfh is fun and all - you can do laundry or have TV in the backround but if you’re like me, there is one thing you almost always forget to do You simply forget to eat Never an office problem because food breaks make the structural beats of my workday

Nothing worse than forgetting to eat Then you get hit with a random headache, and all of a sudden you remember you've accidentally been fasting for a whole day

I normally don’t snack throughout the day and I rarely get seriously hungry so I don’t eat just for the sake of eating. Even had a coworker once tell me she’s never seen me snack (Spoiler: I do snack but only if I’m hungry for some reason) At work, it’s more of a watercooler moment if anything

I'm also an avid non snacker. I also don't like breakfast So if I forget to eat, there's only so many opportunities to get back on the train so to speak. And as you were saying as annoying as work structure can be at times. It's super helpful for alerting you to do things in a timely manner

Exactly - one of reasons I’ve never worked as a fully independent freelancer - I need some outside structure for success

Yeah it's a hard realization to come to that maybe some seemingly unwanted structure is actually in our best interest. I thought I always wanted complete control over my time, until I realized I couldn't even come close to handing it when I had it 😭
