I’m great friends with at least three of my wife’s exes - as is she - weird how that works as that’s not how I saw the world before. But then I’m a naïve, romantic optimist and would like to think that there was a good reason to have a relationship with someone in the first place - and once the pain of separation has been addressed - those reasons can become friendships ;/)
