I don’t dabble in this niche field anymore - as in I’m almost completely hands off this part of the process Back in the day, there were active attempts but it wasn’t as widespread yet

just wrapped up a project that translates videos based on context from the video and localizes the translations using openAI and Llama which is why I ask. Super fun to have been part of the media parts for that

There would still need to be human in the loop to validate the translations are correct and tighten it up but the way I see it, companies don’t wanna pay for the cost involved in the current labour for localized translators
