Just had a fantastic call with the @dau team, and I'm so excited to share what we're building together. My main goal for a DAU partnership was to find a daily task that drives real value, not just spammy DMs (which is the opposite of Reply's mission). After a great brainstorming session, we landed on a powerful, positive-sum idea. The Plan: Onchain "Most Wanted" Polls. I'm going to build out the "Community Poll" feature we've been discussing. Each week, you'll be able to vote for the Farcaster users you'd most like to see on Reply. The key is that this will be verifiable onchain. I'm building a dedicated smart contract for these polls. The DAU Task: The daily task on the @dau app will be to cast your vote in the weekly Reply poll. This creates a perfect, spam-free growth loop: - DAU incentivizes the community to signal who they value most. - We get a powerful, onchain signal to show top builders how much their attention is in demand. - The community and I can then "hunt" and onboard these requested users together. I'm already working on the smart contract for this. Expect to see Reply's new onchain polling feature and our integration with @dau — go live around the end of this week or early next week. This is what co-creating with the community and other builders is all about.
