say what you will about degens (people in this space openly for the money side of things), but i'll take the clarity of knowing where this crowd stands over cool kid cabals that actively plot against you on the regular in the guise of "curating community" any day every day

I'm pretty sure everyone here wants money. (If you dear reader do not, you can proof it by sending your funds to daikie.eth π¦§) Degens in my book are deep in the trenches and often take on excessive risk. Whereas tradfi seeks 3-8% returns annually, degens are barely happy with 0.5-2% apy daily. Obviously the latter is not sustainable which makes us degens for trying to capitalize on it while the tradfi portfolio barely beats inflation. What we're doing seems mad to the others. Tradfi takes the high ground cz they've been around for longer. We are both in the same game: capital preservation. A degen just has more tolerance for risk. Being a degen does not necessarily make you a gold digger. Dedicated degens may indeed help grow your project more than any passive accredited investor ever would. Degens can be in it for the tech. They just won't pretend when they're not cz there's plenty of cool stuff on the chain, why bother simping something you don't believe in. My two cΜΆeΜΆnΜΆtΜΆsΜΆ satoshi's π©

Everyone in crypto is a gambling addict. They may not want to admit it or realise it.
