I know I'm not exactly a typical case since I live on a small island, but here the cultural association cinema is 3 euros, and the big theater is around 10. Last time I went in Madrid (to see Anora), it was about 10 too, but it was a pretty indie cinema. The more modern theaters definitely cost more, but I don’t think they hit 20.

not sure what's provided in the "dolby cinema," but it would normally include stuff like 3D glasses for 3D movies and stuff like that...

basically bs marketing to make you feel like you're getting more for your money...
