I’ve also been thinking about quitting Spotify. But I don’t think switching to Apple, YouTube, or Tidal is the answer. I’d rather go back to buying the music I listen to and actually getting the files, so I can download them and play them on whatever music player I want https://www.hearingthings.co/why-we-quit-spotify/

Highly recommend. I’m currently thinking I’m headed back to CDs, but can’t find a decent portable disc player anymore so thats a bit of a problem. Thanks for the article share - checking it out now.

I love CDs. They’re still the only format that actually makes me feel like im buying and owning music. Im thinking about getting an external CD drive for my PC. The car is great for listening on the go and I guess for everything else, there’s always YouTube

Yeah I’ve been using YouTube for the time being but it is a bit annoying. A decent CanCon playlist there would be ideal imo.
