I’m helping @alexshul.eth learn python because she’s thinking about adding data science to her course work. I showed her how to install python and cursor, and use the embedded AI to teach her how to write a simple hello world script and start playing with variables, user inputs, and to get familiar with the terminal. Suggested she also keep a running google doc to take notes and keep track of progress. I’m biased but I think everyone should learn to code, and learn to love code!

lemme know if you need any suggestions for datasets or analysis, i actually have a full course curriculum for learning data analysis using python and farcaster datasets!

Thank you! Will let you know, but I think for now her main goal is making sure she’s comfortable with python, just to know whether adding a data science certificate to her science major is something she wants to pursue. I think she’ll probably be better off learning through her first college class than on her own, but I’ll see how far she gets and if she’s ready for something larger I’ll suggest she play with farcaster data :)
