On vacation this week… so no @gmfarcaster shows. Should I go dark and take a social media detox or cast personal updates from vacation? Not finding the current meta particularly interesting or novel, and since I don’t have to cover it as news, I have a little choice about how to show up this week on the purple app.

I say do whatever you want and reserve the right to change your mind. Go dark, come back, cast an update, go dark again, disappear, reappear. Most of all, don't worry about your notifications and enjoy. :) Noting that I like what @triumph did in the username, to show they're not around so much but will be back. It can be helpful expectation-setting if people are accustomed to seeing more frequent activity.
