*Update on how channels are rendered on the side panel on mobile. (Web client stays as is)* This section was used less than 1% of daily active users and was a heavy burden of performance on the app overall for larger percentage of users. We are keeping all your favorite channels in the side panel as is. Rest of the channels are located on the "Manage channels" screen. If you find yourself navigate to certain channel more than others and want a quick access — favorite them and it will show up in the panel. (Thank you @pichi for the nudge to explain this change)

How do I add trending as a favorite channel? It used to show up in the all channels list and I am missing it more than you can imagine 😢

Will show up in the list at the bottom of your favorited channels with the next update. (ETA 30 mins) Once its there you should be able to favorite — and move it to the position in the list your desire. Keep in mind first in the favorites list is always the third tab in the home feed. (I use trending as the top favorite personally so my feed tabs on mobile are home — following — trending)
