We see this as a complementary income stream, integrated with the regenerative businesses these women will develop from their training at the school—creating solutions so that they and their communities can also lead regenerative change. Happy to share more details on our financial projections and community success stories if helpful.

The Web3 layer comes in as an amplifier, especially because we see it as the most powerful and accessible tool for emancipation for people who, historically, have never been given space. It helps us transcend the colonial bureaucracies in Brazil that so often act as gatekeepers to access. Hive, especially through Ecency, has proven to be a very community-driven and supportive space, with several “minority” communities already changing their realities and inspiring others to do the same, being directly rewarded in the process. So far, direct earnings have been modest (as expected at this learning stage), but it has allowed us to test strategies that align with our vision for achieving community engagement. When I say “we,” I include under this umbrella partners like the team from Bless Skate Shop and BlackChain, as we continue supporting each other’s projects and growing together.

Hey @rocketman Thanks for these important questions. Since January, I've been studying the Web3 universe, and for a few months I had the opportunity to receive a small grant from Nouns to deliver food health workshops for neurodivergent populations with peripheral women and community health agents in Brazil. Even with limited resources, we were able to mobilize engagement, build important connections, and, most importantly, begin shaping a narrative where people historically invisibilized can see themselves as part of a decentralized future. Regarding the sustainability model, our approach is hybrid: the school behind this program combines scholarships (through the grant we already have from The Pollination Project) with other paid courses, and we are also planning additional revenue streams through the physical space under development (catering, events, content production).

Today in São Paulo we had the first day of #TokenNation. As a woman, it was very important to witness speeches from other powerful women, especially from peripheral backgrounds (like me) and non-white women, which are generating a great impact on the movement. Inspiring!

Hi everyone! Today we finally had our workshop with moms! In partnership with the Brazilian Vegetarian Society and the city government of São Paulo, we served - in the morning and afternoon - more than 460 moms and caregivers of neurodivergent children who have children enrolled in the city's public education system. We structured a way to offer four recipes that regulate intestinal health through PANCs (Non-Conventional Edible Plants) that they have access to in the school garden and in many cases in their own backyard. The Vegetarian Society offered a talk with their nutritionist, and I was there to speak, answer questions and present the video with the recipes recorded in advance. Due to the huge number of participants, I was able to offer a kit with these dehydrated nutritious plants, annatto seeds and black beans, and they also received printed informational material prepared by the Vegetarian Society. In the end, they were able to taste the 4 recipes and take home empowerment, knowledge and hope.

Hi guys! Once again, in partnership with the Brazilian Vegetarian Society, and also in partnership with the city of São Paulo, we'll have a great event on the 15th (next week), and this time, finally the workshop for mothers and caregivers of neurodivergent children! But the number of moms registered was huge, we are expecting a total of 300 mothers. To be effective with this amount of people, the event will take place at the CEU Carrão theater, where they will attend a lecture with the Nutritionist partner of the Vegetarian Society and our workshop with 4 accessible recipes that help regulate intestinal health. In the last few days, we spent recording these recipes that will be shown on the theater screen, as well as preparing the material and the kit that they will receive. In addition to the video, I'll have a talk about health and nutrition, and they will be able to taste the 4 recipes. I haven't been able to post as much due to lack of time, but we're working and we're grateful for your support!

Hi, guys! I wanna share with you another great event that we were able to participate in, in partnership with the Brazilian Vegetarian Society. The event happened again at the Teatro do Engenho in Piracicaba, but this time it was attended by 220 doctors from different specialties, from the SUS - the Brazilian unified health system, which serves the entire population, especially the most vulnerable, free of charge. I could present two recipes, addressing the importance of each ingredient strategically chose for strengthening the population health and especially intestinal health of neurodivergent children. The doctors were able to taste the recipes in 300 portions of lentil kibbeh and 300 portions of orange cake, anti-inflammatory and full of fiber. This partnership with the Brazilian Vegetarian Society and the Health Department of Piracicaba was only possible because we could dedicate time to structuring the project in detail at the base, and this process was only possible because of your support!

Hi guys! Today, in partnership with the NGO Brazilian Vegetarian Society we participate in a very important event happened in the city of Piracicaba, in the São Paulo's interior. It was a specific event for health agents (who work as nurses, who provide first-line health care to families and communities in many cases), to talk about sustainable food, and I had the opportunity to talk about neurodivergent health and brain regulation through maintaining intestinal health. In addition to the conversation, I taught the participants how to prepare a lentil-based kibbeh with ora pro nobis cream, which is a great source of protein, has great absorption, easy digestion and is very well accepted by children, and I served a total of 300 portions for them to taste it. Divided between morning and afternoon hours, more than 250 professionals were present on this day of good sharing!

@marvinsmetrics As requested, we've published the Ethical Conduct Framework document, not just for the Roots of Love program but for the entire Institute. You can check it out here: https://github.com/adrielemadana/ICEdocs/blob/main/documentos-legais/ICE%20Institute%20Ethical%20Conduct%20Framework.pdf Remembering that all of you guys here in the community can also use this document as a model, adapting the data to the reality of each project. I appreciate the guidance and am available to discuss the next steps.

Hi everyone! After our initial mapping phase, we faced our first challenge 😥 We identified that the neurodivergent families we serve have an average of 3 or more children per household, making our original meal delivery model unfeasible with our current budget ($67/month, which reduces to approximately $45 after exchange rates and fees). Our solution: Restructuring the project to focus on: - Practical workshops on anti-inflammatory, allergen-free plant-based cooking - Distribution of essential ingredient baskets - Ongoing educational materials on social media This adaptation maintains our mission of supporting neurodivergent families through healthy nutrition, while promoting autonomy and expanding the project's reach. Full restructuring document and our activity schedule here: https://github.com/adrielemadana/ICEdocs/blob/main/documentos-legais/Roots%20of%20Love%20Program%20Restructuring.pdf Feedback and suggestions welcome! Hi guys 🌻 Today we had a big and important breakthrough in the project! While the bureaucratic part of the NGO is not completely ready and we still don't have a partnership with the Secretary of Social Development, we are seeking partnerships with other institutions that have the same values and purposes. And today we formalize our partnership with Prato Verde Sustentável, an institution that has existed for 11 years in Jardim Filhos da Terra, a community in the North Zone of São Paulo that grows more than 40 tons of organic food per year and feeds the neediest in the communities free of charge. In partnership, we will map the families that are already involved with the institution to start receiving at the end of March personalized meals for children with food selectivity. If you have the opportunity, check Prato Verde Sustentável's social media to follow all of their actions, they are really incredible, and forming this partnership with them is something very powerful and very inclusive for us.

Food sustanability is the key pillars to a human being life, so we need to impact more food food productivity in our garden, farms, and other working areas to ensure that we have proper food security.

Hi, guys! Today we attended the Forum of CAPS (Psychosocial Care Center) children and youth, which are public mental health units that provide shelter and care to patients with mental disorders, being a very important strategy for mental health care in Brazil. The forum brought together CAPS representatives from various neighborhoods in São Paulo and also some families who are welcomed by the service, addressing the pains and delights that peripheral children and youth go through to access health maintenance, their achievements, and the next steps for improving this collective territory. We were present as an institution to understand and refine how we can act by offering support and creating partnership bonds 🌻
