When I came into college, I was going to major in pure econ. Joined several business fellowships in fall quarter because I was possibly going to recruit for IB/PE/consulting. Crazy time looking back. In winter quarter, I switched completely to tech. Why? Because TreeHacks showed me for the first time what it felt like to have ownership over my work. To build something myself & see other people care. Just 2 days into my current internship, I already know I love everything about product. This is what I want to pursue, whether through work, side projects, or startups. Ownership is key! I’ve never been more excited for the summer🫡

Pure econ is not the worst idea either. Behavioral Economics, Game Theory, Incentive design are incredibly exciting design spaces

Ah yes I’m taking courses on game theory and market design! Just wasn’t as interested in certain required courses
