I got a biopsy of my butt (Birth mark) today. Most likely fine according to the Dr. I thought I was being overly cautious getting a skin cancer screening since I didn't see much of anything on my visible body. I haven't gotten one in 10+ years and I learned today even birth marks can change over time.

Schedule a skin cancer screening if you haven't had one in the last year and get your butts looked at! 👀🍑

Because birth marks that aren't exposed to the sun can also be a potential skin cancer risk I learned it's good to prioritize a list of skin marks before going to a dermatologist for them to look at.

Thank you! 🙏🏻 I really didn't think I needed one since I'm careful with sun exposure. It shows how easy it is to miss something though. With insurance it was $35 copay so worth it for peace of mind.

Not sure if the biopsy is covered yet. I'd estimate it should be since preventative care. Worst case that's ~$100.

Hope all good with the results. I probably should check skin screening too
