By prioritizing Taxi on bus lane, I may rethink twice if I take my car into the city or I switch to public transportation to arrive faster to my destination. Over time this may push me from not even having a (secondary) car. Since public taxi are at a much higher utilization than cars - 1 taxi may replace 30 cars and thus reducing congestion over time.

Product went viral with more than 100k users in a couple days back then. We ended up shutting it down because scraping was very expensive. Still amazed that hundreds of tweets are still indexed about it. https://x.com/tylerweir/status/4314189259

Interesting! Funny story. I've launched a product that we hacked together during the weekend called readtwit in 2009. It'd connect to your account using oauth. Imported your feed and expanded any links / articles shared in it and scraped the content to then generate an RSS feed. Feed to newspaper in a few minutes.

As someone who made Aliyah 28 years ago, it does not surprise me. Israel is probably the only place I would consider safe. I know it sounds like a paradox but I never felt safe outside of Israel because I always felt alone and powerless if something would happen.

I would love my AI-sistant to do the following: - Send me a weekly email asking me which newsletter I should unsub (based on how much I interacted with it) - Ping me on whatsapp/slack if an urgent email just landed in my inbox - Suggest turning some of my emails into a task / auto-reply to sender

Congrats! Farcaster reminds me a bit of the twitter era post their SXSW launch - 2007ish. Not a toy anymore, intimate enough that you knew a lot of the users and lot of fun!
