Talked to the Nefesh B'Nefesh person today about aliyah (they work with the Jewish Agency) and she said applications are way, way up since the war. 'WAY UP' Processing of applications has not slowed down, despite the war. People are looking at what's going on in the world and thinking "I want the out".

As someone who made Aliyah 28 years ago, it does not surprise me. Israel is probably the only place I would consider safe. I know it sounds like a paradox but I never felt safe outside of Israel because I always felt alone and powerless if something would happen.
