One thing is becoming very clear. The intentions the Merkle team has around Farcaster pro are at odds with the people and bots that inhabit it.
Any grand narrative is disrupted by a coin launch, which appeals to established onchain habits. 
You paid for a Farcaster pro subscription, but you also inadvertently signed up to be spammed with a new wave of 💩 coins. 
Grifters will rug noobs under the guise of community, governance and self serving altruism and the cycle will perpetuate itself.

This is less of a judgement than it is a sober realization. The true currency here is the people we meet and interact with. You want to support the network? Tip in one of the several ways this places has made it easy to do so...or don't and just enjoy the drama and the vibes.
