I would use this. I currently don’t feel any connection to Pinterest creators as a user, and I don’t think they’re well-rewarded for their efforts.

As someone who worked for Pinterest I can say that they do not appreciate their creators enough.

at least they let users organize their content into boards, whereas zero wallets let any collector organize their collections

That’s fine and all, but Web3 has been making wallets for at least eight years and still has not chosen to help curators organize their collection, or make it easier for creators to get re-engagement. Every VC waxes about social, Jesse runs around, talking about coining content, everyone talks about yay we’re going to help creators … it’s kinda hard to reengage a creator when you can’t remember their name or their collection and you can’t organize the things that you’re collecting. 

The hypocrisy in Web3 is absurd

Yeah I agree. Web3 has really dropped the ball in terms of curation. I used to make Pinterest boards of my NFTs and NFT’s I like to organize them😂

Yeah they have a great product, don’t get me wrong. But the web3 version of Pinterest has the potential to be much better.

A lot of the upper level talent brought over from Tumblr to Pinterest had this philosophy that creators didn’t really deserve rewards and should do it for the love of the game. They make a killing off of ads (the highest CTR I’ve ever seen in social media ads) , they could easily reward the creators that drive that CTR with their content curation/contribution. But alas, the shareholders would never stand for it.
